“At Subaru, we believe in making the world a better place by cherishing the wonders of nature that we too often take for granted”
-Thomas J. Doll, President and Chief Operating Officer of Subaru of America, Inc.

With Subaru and the National Aquarium’s shared vision of a sustainable future, a partnership seems only natural. In February 2017, the National Aquarium was proud to host the More 2 Love event to showcase the new, green-spirited Subaru Impreza. Subaru and the National Aquarium engaged with nearly 1,000 guests at the event to educate drivers on what Subaru is doing behind the scenes to help the environment and support local charities through its Love Promise campaign.

Subaru’s dedication to protecting and preserving our planet’s meaningful places and resources has been evident since 2004, when it became the first U.S. automaker to receive Zero-Landfill status. Subaru has achieved this feat through numerous sustainable practices, such as creating fuel-efficient vehicles in clean, zero-emission facilities and reusing recycled materials. The National Aquarium is excited to continue to partner with Subaru to tackle environmental problems in our region and create a greener tomorrow.
