Aquarium on Wheels

Each fall, Baltimore City and Baltimore County students are invited to apply for a year-long work-based learning program that immerses them in the daily operations of the Aquarium.

The program includes three parts:

  • Training and field trips to learn about aquatic organisms, cooperative skills, and teaching techniques.
  • Creation of two original plays and two animal labs.
  • Summertime performance of plays on the road at Enoch Pratt Fee Library branches throughout the city.

Requirements
Students must be enrolled in grades 9 to 12 at a Baltimore City or Baltimore County school and must be at least 14 years old.

How to Apply
Recruitment begins in the fall. Contact the Conservation Education Department at 410-576-3870 for an application.
