Sugar frequently snacks on peanuts and coconuts. He loves tearing apart shredded newspaper and sharpening his beak on wood blocks. Some of his favorite enrichment activities involve playing with cardboard tubes.

Sugar also enjoys dancing to the song “Sugar, Sugar” by the Archies, which is how he got his name.

Did you know? Like other umbrella cockatoos, Sugar has a crest of feathers on his head which he’ll raise when surprised or excited!
