The National Aquarium is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and preserving the ocean and all of its inhabitants. We live our mission every day through animal rescue, conservation and education programs.
The National Aquarium is a nationally recognized conservation, aquatic display and education organization based in Baltimore, Maryland. Annually, more than 1.3 million visitors are inspired to conserve the world's aquatic treasures by participating in our conservation and educational programming and enjoying our world-class exhibits. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit institution, we depend upon the support of individuals, foundations and corporations to provide engaging experiences that excite young people about aquatic life and habitats; welcome diverse audiences from throughout the community; restore fragile Chesapeake Bay wetlands; and rescue, rehabilitate and release imperiled marine animals.
