Thank you for your interest in the National Aquarium’s education programs. Information for booking programs for the 2015-2016 school year will be posted soon.

We are thrilled that you have chosen the National Aquarium, for your next homeschool field trip. A visit to the Aquarium is your students' passport to discovering the world's aquatic treasures! Our programs are specifically designed to engage homeschoolers in fascinating science topics. Below is a list of our upcoming programs, as well as information to assist in the planning of your field trip.

Monthly Homeschool Programs

Second and Fourth Mondays of the Month

October 2014–February 2015
Grades 6–12 meet from 10–11 a.m.
Grades K–2 meet from 12:30–1:30 p.m.
Grades 3–5 meet from 2–3 p.m.

Chaperone Fees
Each reservation includes one free adult chaperone admission for each group of up to five students. Additional chaperones are welcome at $27.95 per person (Aquarium admission only).

$15 per student per program
$60 per student for all five programs

Out-of-state Homeschool Groups
Grades K-5

$33.95 per student per program
$135.80 per student for all five programs

Grades 6-12
$36.95 per student per program
$147.80 per student for all five programs

Confirm Your Reservation
Upon receipt of your reservation acknowledgement, verify all information and return the signed agreement. You must confirm your reservation at least 21 days prior to your visit to prevent cancellation.

Teacher's Curriculum Guide
This guide prepares teachers and chaperones for a successful and educational field trip to the National Aquarium, Baltimore.

Student Activity Guide, Grades 9–12
These guides provide activities for before, during, and after a field trip to the National Aquarium, Baltimore. All the activities are correlated to the Maryland Voluntary State Curriculum.

Teacher Booklets
Teacher booklets contain pre- and post-Aquarium-visit activities on a variety of subjects for students of all grades.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

You must cancel your reservation more than 21 days in advance of your scheduled visit to receive a full refund of payments. If you cancel your reservation less than 21 days in advance, or fail to arrive at your scheduled entry time, you forfeit the deposit and all program fees.
