Develop New Ways to Teach

The Marion S. Bowers Discovery Award is a teacher-in-residence opportunity open to teachers from any Maryland school. The award pays a $250 stipend.

The selected candidate will work alongside non-formal educators to develop and improve ways to use the Aquarium's exhibits as teaching tools. Lessons gained from the experience will be made available to the education community.

How to Apply

Send a cover letter along with a brief description (500 words or fewer) on why you would like to be selected for the award, and how it would benefit you as a teacher.
