Spring Homeschool Day: Rainforest
Join the National Aquarium for the March 2019 Homeschool Day program. Homeschool families will start their day with an auditorium program focusing on plant and animal interactions and adaptations for survival in the South American Amazon Rainforest. Discover the importance of this unique habitat, threats to its survival and how to influence its future. Homeschool Days are open to pre-k through high school students and are designed to be family learning days.
After the program, families can enjoy a self-guided tour of the National Aquarium, with a learning passport in hand. Families will have the opportunity to visit hands-on discovery stations, which focus on different aspects of the rainforest.
