Since our opening in 1981, we have educated more than 5 million students. The Aquarium's hands-on youth education programs, ranging from elementary school outreach to college internships, engage students in science, bolster their academic performance, and help them develop higher education and career goals.
Together, all of these special-access and educational opportunities help to make the Aquarium available to everyone in our community.
