August 17, 2005 - Hispanic Heritage Celebrated with Festival of Music and Fun

 The National Aquarium in Baltimore invites visitors to celebrate rich and diverse cultures at Hispanic Heritage Night on Friday, September 9, 2005. Guests can explore the enchanting exhibits of the Aquarium as well as experience:
  • Dance music by Grupo Latino Continental
  • Mariachi Las Estrellas
  • A bilingual underwater dive presentation
  • Games of aquatic lotería and conservation-themed face-painting for the kids
  • A special buffet of Latin foods

The Aquarium’s Conservation Education Department and Human Resources Team will be on-hand to talk with visitors about career and educational opportunities.

In honor of the event, admission is only $5 after 5 p.m. and the celebrations will be held from 5 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. The last ticket will be sold at 8:00 p.m.

The Aquarium’s Hispanic Heritage Night is presented by Southwest Airlines with additional support by Viva 900, WB 54 and Fox 45.
