June 6, 2003 - Baltimore Attractions Introduce Harbor Pass

National Aquarium in Baltimore, Maryland Science Center, Port Discovery and Top of the World Offer Value and Convenience

Baltimore, MD (June 6, 2003)–Visiting Baltimore’s Inner Harbor is now easier than ever with Harbor Pass, a value-added combination pass made available by several major attractions and the Baltimore Area Convention and Visitors Association.

Available beginning June 12, 2003, the three-day pass provides discounted entry to the National Aquarium in Baltimore; Maryland Science Center; Port Discovery, The Kid-Powered Museum; and Top of the World Observation Level at Baltimore’s World Trade Center. All of these attractions are within easy walking distance of each other in the popular and scenic Inner Harbor.

The Harbor Pass also includes savings at select Inner Harbor hotels; Baltimore Orioles games; Ed Kane’s Water Taxi; ESPN Zone; National Historic Seaport attractions; Ride the Ducks, a land-sea tour; Gold’s Gym; Harborplace & The Gallery; Power Plant Live!, a hotspot of unique restaurants and entertainment venues; and Passport: Voyages of Discovery, a new cinematic experience launching in June 2003.

Priced at $35 for adults and $25 for children ages 3-12, Harbor Pass is available for purchase up to 60 days in advance. Visitors may designate their starting date, and the pass is good for three days from that date. Once purchased, passes may not be cancelled; however, the start date may be changed prior to first use for a nominal fee.

Harbor Pass is available through Connect Baltimore at the Baltimore Visitor Center, located on the West shore of the Inner Harbor, or in advance by calling 1-877-BALTIMORE (1-877-225-8466) or by visiting www.baltimore.org.  Connect Baltimore is the Baltimore Area Convention and Visitors Association’s new innovative ticketing and reservation system for more than 50 hotels and attractions.

The 2003 Harbor Pass will be valid until December 31, 2003.
