Baltimore, Md. (June 26, 2003)— Inner Harbor visitors have a new way to save money this summer with the National Aquarium in Baltimore’s Shark&Park discount. Through September 1, 2003, visitors who purchase Aquarium tickets online will receive a coupon for $3 off at two Central Parking System locations; the Inner Harbor Garage or the Harbor Park Garage.
Shark&Park is an extension of Shark Quest, a new exploration that encourages visitors to get “uncomfortably close” to sharks. Through encounters with live sharks, jaw-dropping artifacts and lively actors, visitors learn the truth about these misunderstood and threatened fish. Guests can talk with underwater divers, find shark teeth in a new “fossil wall,” visit the shark nursery pool, and see live shark embryos developing in their translucent casings.
To receive the discount, visitors simply order Aquarium tickets online at www.aqua.org, print a confirmation page with the Shark&Park discount, and present the confirmation to the cashier when exiting the garage. Visitors must stay a minimum of four hours and must use the coupon on the day of their admission to the Aquarium.
