On November 15, 2002, the Aquarium’s Marine Animal Rescue Program (MARP) released its final patient of what had been an extremely busy summer season.
A Loggerhead sea turtle that had been rescued more than five months earlier near a dock on Bower’s Beach in Delaware, the fully recovered animal slipped beneath ocean waters off the coast of South Carolina and began a migration complete with a disappearing act and exciting rediscovery.
