National Aquarium’s Maryland Mornings Returns This September

Program offers special admission rate for Maryland residents to experience the National Aquarium

9/6/2016

As part of its continuing effort to provide community access to one of the country’s top aquariums, the National Aquarium is announcing the return of its annual Maryland Mornings program.

Starting today, from September 6, 2016, through February 28, 2017, Maryland residents who visit before noon Sunday through Friday can enjoy discounted admission to the National Aquarium: $10 off adult tickets and $5 off children tickets. Tickets are available on-site to those who reference the program at the National Aquarium ticket center and show proof of residency.

Maryland Mornings, which launched in 2012, is one of several community access programs hosted by the National Aquarium throughout the year including: Half-Price Friday Nights, presented by M&T Bank, which provides visitors half-off admission pricing year-round on Friday evenings after 5 p.m.; Dollar Days, where visitors can enjoy a $1 admission fee for two days every December; and Pay What You Want Day, made possible with generous support from the Aquarium’s official community engagement sponsor, T. Rowe Price, which allows Maryland residents to donate an amount of their choice for admittance.

Maryland Mornings begins on Tuesday, September 6. Blackout dates apply. For more information on the National Aquarium’s community programs, or to plan your visit, go to aqua.org/youraquarium.
