The Marion Bowers Discovery Award is a teacher-in-residence opportunity open to teachers from any public or private school in Baltimore City or Baltimore County.

The selected candidate will work alongside non-formal educators on developing and improving ways to use the Aquarium's exhibits as teaching tools. Lessons gained from the experience will be made available to the education community.

The award pays a $250 stipend.
