Track Flight and Release's Progress

Released on September 19, 2009

Update: October 28, 2009: Nearly a week has passed without a signal from Flight and Release’s satellite tag. Factors such as weather, location, battery life of the tag, and erosion of the adhesive used to hold it in place can lead to a lack of transmission. We will continue to monitor the tag and will update the tracking map if we receive future transmissions. We wish Flight and Release the best of luck on his journey!

Release Point: Assateague State Park
Released on: September 19, 2009 | Last Update: October 23, 2009
Distance Traveled Since Release: More than 715 miles
