Track Hamilton's Progress

Released on July 9, 2009

Update: August 6, 2009: We have not received a successful transmission from Hamilton's satellite tag in the past week. Factors such as weather, location, battery life of the tag, the seal's molt pattern (much like a dog sheds its fur), and erosion of the adhesive used to attach the tag can lead to a lack of transmission. We will continue to monitor the tag for any signals in the future. We wish Hamilton the best of luck on his journey.

Release Point: Delaware Seashore State Park
Released on: July 9, 2009 | Last Update: July 31, 2009
Distance Traveled Since Release: More than 1138 miles
