Follow This Leatherback Sea Turtle From Nesting Grounds to Feeding Grounds

Update: August 6, 2009: It has been two weeks since we last received a successful transmission from Julia's satellite transmitter. The backpack-like device holding the satellite tag was designed to fall off within a few weeks. In the weeks that Julia was tracked, the turtle traveled more than 500 miles. We wish safe travels to Julia!
