Black History Month Celebration

black history

On February 3, celebrate Black History Month with a special evening featuring music, performances and fun for the whole family at the National Aquarium! The evening will focus on the roles African Americans have played within the Chesapeake Bay’s maritime and seafood industries and examine how they are shaping its future. Through interactive activities such as exploring skipjack artifacts and having a hands-on experience with the fading art of oyster tonging, guests can travel back in time and explore the wealth of culture and heritage in our community. Guests can also enjoy interactive performances and dine on sustainable seafood in Harbor Market Kitchen.

All activities are included with Aquarium admission during Half-Price Friday Nights, brought to you by M&T Bank.
