Stem day at the National Aquarium
The National Aquarium is pleased to be a part of the first Maryland STEM Festival. The Maryland STEM Festival provides inspirational, educational, and accessible programming in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) throughout Maryland. As part of the festival, The National Aquarium will be hosting a STEM day on November 12 for 10:00am to 2:00pm.
Citizen Science on Plaza
The National Aquarium will be hosting citizen science activities outside on the Aquarium Plaza. During these activities, participants will collect data that will benefit scientific research. Citizen science activities will be held outside and do not require admission.
Groups may also engage in climate change activities throughout the Aquarium. These activities are included with the cost of admission. Maryland schools may be eligible to have the admission fee waved as part of a grant from MSDE as long as the teacher has attended a teacher orientation.
