Tots and Tales

Bring your little explorers to the Aquarium on Wednesdays this September and October. Go on an adventure that teaches us about our aquatic world. This adventure includes: story time, songs, games and activities all designed to develop early learning skills like fine and gross motor skills and language skills. Learn about our animals through encounters and field trips to their Aquarium habitats. Each week is a brand new journey so bring the family and join us for Tots and Tales.

When: Every Wednesday in September and October
What time: 10:30am Program runs approximately 20 minutes

Let's Visit the Seashore!
We will be focusing on fine motor skills and imaginary play through water and sand play.

Our Friends the Sharks
We will learn colors and pinching skills through our shark matching activity.

September 16, 2015
Lizards from Down Under
We will be practicing color sorting, and counting with a camouflage activity.

September 23, 2015
Tortoise Training
We will practice our language skills and pretend play with puppets.

September 30, 2015
Our Slithering Friends
We learn numbers through a counting and matching game.

October 7, 2015
Delightful Dolphins
We will practice gross motor skills like balancing and jumping around an obstacle course.

October 14, 2015
How to Train Your Dragon
We will do some creative thinking to make shapes and match colors.

October 21, 2015
Bring on the Birds
We will practice counting, sorting, and pinching skills with a great bird activity.

October 28, 2015
Creepy, Crawly, Hippity,Hoppity
We will use our gross motor skills to hop around the colorful lily pads.
