Are you ready to volunteer at the Aquarium?
Many of the Aquarium's volunteer positions require a minimal commitment of one year working one shift of 3 1/2 to 4 hours every week. Volunteers must be 18 or older and out of high school. (Exception: High school students who participate in the summer or home-schooled program).
While completing the online application, you will be asked to specify the volunteer positions for which you are applying. Before beginning the application process, please select Ways to Volunteer to review position requirements and expectations. All behind-the-scenes positions (aquarist, aviculture, herpetology, and horticulture) are available during morning hours only.
Do not complete the application if you are interested in volunteering to fulfill community service hours; or if you are looking for short-term, summer, shadowing, or visiting volunteer opportunities. We do not offer these programs.
Please note: All applicants to the volunteer dive program must have (at least) Advanced Open Water certification and 30 logged dives.
