National Aquarium Hosts Maryland Premiere of Ocean Frontiers II

The National Aquarium and the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) hosts the Maryland premier of Ocean Frontiers II, a documentary that tells the story of residents from New England, a region steeped in old maritime tradition, and their plan to create a healthy ocean after the devastating effects of modern big ships, energy industries and a changing climate. The film’s message will help guide efforts in maintaining long-term oceanic health along the East Coast.

A Q&A panel discussion will be held immediately following the premiere with state and regional experts Kathy Broadwater, Deputy Executive Director of the Maryland Port Administration; Jay Odell, Mid-Atlantic Program Director of The Nature Conservancy; and Gwynne Schultz, State Co-Lead of The Mid-Atlantic Regional Planning Body.

This is a free event; however, registration is required before the event and space is limited. The first 100 people to register will receive a voucher for free event parking at Lockwood Place Garage.
