The National Aquarium welcomed 1,946 guests to its 27th annual Grade A Student Night celebration on June 13 and June 20. The program rewards area students who achieve three or more A's (or equivalent) in any one marking period with a free evening of entertainment and exploration of the Aquarium.
For the third year, to accommodate the growing popularity of Grade A Student Night, the community access program took place over two nights. The celebration welcomed 469 families and recognized 842 Pre-K–12 students from schools in Baltimore City, Baltimore County and Howard County.
In addition to enjoying full access to the Aquarium's exhibits and animals, guests experienced special showings in the 4D Immersion Theater, animal encounters and more. They also learned about school and family education programs that allow them to stay involved with the Aquarium throughout the year.
Grade A Student Night is proudly supported by Pepsi.
