Women’s History Month Celebration

Cultural Series

March is a time to honor the women who have shaped our history and inspired others with their strength, ambition and leadership. We think that’s cause for celebration. In recognition of Women’s History Month, the National Aquarium is hosting an evening of live performances, exhibits and activities honoring women’s history around the world.

Join us for live Arabic music by all-female group Roumana, partnering with the Barakaat Middle Eastern Dance Company, as well as performances from Dance Baltimore, an interactive Harriet Tubman performance and a special collaboration called “Fantasy of the Ocean from Land to Sea: A Music, Dance and Visual Art Journey.”

Since a celebration of women’s history wouldn’t be complete without a trivia game, we’re giving you the opportunity to test your knowledge of historical female figures while enjoying a drink or two from our cash bar (for guests 21 and over). We’ll also be featuring a special exhibit celebrating women’s accomplishments in science, technology, engineering and math.

Price: Our Fridays After Five special admission applies, which means you can tour the Aquarium and enjoy all of the evening’s activities for only $12! Add a 4-D Immersion Film for $5.
