Masonville Cove BioBlitz

Person Holding a Turtle

Join the National Aquarium's Conservation team at Masonville Cove for our sixth annual BioBlitz! We'll explore plants and wildlife in local ecosystems while learning more about simple things you can do to protect wildlife through hand-on conservation. At this year's BioBlitz, we'll also recognize the 10th anniversary of Masonville Cove's restoration and the one-year anniversary of Captain Trash Wheel!

A BioBlitz is an all-day event where scientists, naturalists, students, teachers, families and other volunteers work together to identify and record as many living organisms as they can find.

Preregistration is required for this event. Participants must be at least 5 years old. All volunteers under 18 must be supervised by an adult.
