Stop Drifting, Start Rowing: Charting a Better Course
Tuesday, November 6, 2018, 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Please join us as we welcome solo ocean rower and sustainability advocate Roz Savage as she shares her inspiring story during her lecture, "Stop Drifting, Start Rowing: Charting a Better Course." During a trying time in her life, Savage had an environmental epiphany that led to solo rowing journeys across the Atlantic, Indian and Pacific Ocean basins. More than 15 million oar strokes later, Savage shares how pushing past one's comfort zone can lead to more a more purpose-driven life, and why we are all part of charting a better course for people and the planet.
Following her talk, Ms. Savage will sign copies of her book, "Stop Drifting, Start Rowing: One Woman's Search for Happiness and Meaning Alone on the Pacific." Copies of the book will be available for purchase in the Aquarium gift shop.
