Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled start time. We strongly encourage guests traveling from long distances to allow themselves extra travel time in case of heavy traffic.
Tours at Our Main Campus
The check-in location for all programs at our main campus on Pratt Street (except for our Dolphin Explorer tour) is our Pier 3 Staff Entrance, which is located around the corner from our Main Entrance, directly across from the U.S.S. Torsk submarine. The check-in location for the Dolphin Explorer tour is at the Marine Mammal Pavilion, located on Pier 4, next to the main Aquarium building on Pier 3. FAQs and Other Info
Most programs have age requirements. All tours that visit behind-the-scenes areas, including the Animal Care and Rescue Center tour, require that guests are at least 8 years old. Guests between the ages of 16 and 18 must bring a waiver signed by a parent or guardian; guests under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. If a guest does not meet the specified age requirement, they will not be allowed to participate in the program and no refund will be offered.
Tours at our main campus: Your experience at our main campus on Pratt Street includes admission into the National Aquarium. You will have the option to explore the Aquarium at your leisure before or after your program. To enter the Aquarium prior to your program, please check in at the Pier 3 Staff Entrance and the staff member at the desk will help you enter the Aquarium.
Tours at our Animal Care and Rescue Center: Your experience at our Animal Care and Rescue Center does not include admission to the National Aquarium.
For all behind-the-scenes programs, including the Animal Care and Rescue Center tour, please wear non-slip shoes. No flip flops, high heels or Crocs will be permitted.
Because the health of the animals is always our top priority, any program may be modified without previous notice should the need arise.
If you have purchased a sleepover program, additional information will be emailed to you closer to your program date.
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. If the Aquarium cancels your program, you will be notified by phone and will have the option of rescheduling for another date or receiving a full refund. You may also check the status of your tour by calling 410-576-8822 within two hours of your program start time.
