Aquarium turns purple in support of Ravens

Published January 12, 2010

Last week the National Aquarium, Baltimore supported the Ravens' first playoff game with a fun video from our feathered friends at the Aquarium. This week we are joining the rest of Baltimore in donning purple  to celebrate the Ravens' journey through the playoffs!

Last night, during a covert effort to paint the town purple, the Ravens’ front office staff left the Aquarium a special logo stamp on the sidewalk near the ticket center. To continue the city-wide show of support, the Aquarium will light all of Pier 3 in purple on Thursday.

In support of Purple Friday, the National Aquarium is offering a special $5 discount on Friday, January 15.  Starting today, fans can visit aqua.org and enter the promotion code RAVENS to receive $5 off the total experience package on Friday, January 15 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. The promotion is available through online ticket purchases only.

Visitors are encouraged to join Aquarium staff in wearing their purple Ravens gear on Purple Friday, January 15, and for the rest of the weekend.  Go Ravens!
